More Race-Baiting from MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and Lawrence O’Donnell

Posted by Steve Markowitz on August 30, 2012

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is on a roll, downhill.  Evidently the positive impact coming from Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, as well as the sinking political fortunes of Barack Obama, are affecting Matthews’ mental state.

Earlier this week we posted Chris Matthews Freaks Out on Television and Newt Gingrich turns race Baiting Back on MSNBC’s Chris Matthews.  After making a fool of himself on national television, Matthews decided to avoid Republicans to debate and instead spewed his race baiting with fellow Leftist journalists.  Newsbusters.org reported on two of these occurrences.

During last night’s Hardball coverage of the Republican National Convention, Matthews got together with Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post and John Hielemann of New York Magazine.  That race-baiting included the following exchange that incredibly inferred that using the word “Chicago” when describing Obama was somehow racist

Robinson:  “It’s all part of this Barack Obama as ‘other’ sort of blanket campaign that has been waged by the Republican Party for some time now.  It may be gaining some traction now, though I wonder why now as opposed to a bit closer to election.”

Matthews:  “Yea, well let me ask you about that gentleman.  What about now, is this constant barrage of assaults, saying the guy is basically playing an old game of demagoguery politics, where you take the money from the worker bees and give it to the poor people to buy votes.  That’s basically what they’re charging him with.  Old big-style, big-city machine of 50 years ago  They keep saying Chicago by the way, have you noticed?  They keep saying Chicago.  That’s another thing that sends that message – this guy’s helping the poor people in the bad neighborhoods, screwing us in the ‘burbs.”

Hielemann:  “There’s a lot of black people in Chicago.”

Forgetting for a moment that whites make up the largest majority in Chicago, the sleazy politics from this city was well known throughout the Country long before Barack Obama was even born.  Inferring that connecting Obama, yes a Chicago politician, to that sleaze is somehow racist is just plain outrageous.

Matthews MSNBC coworker Lawrence O’Donnell made a great effort to outdo Matthews during an interview with fellow Leftist Martin Bashir.  O’Donnell made race an issue when Republican Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, accused Obama of playing too much golf with McConnell stating that Obama “has been working hard to earn a spot on the PGA Tour.”  O’Donnell claimed that by connecting golf to the President, McConnell was somehow connecting Obama with the philanderer Tiger Woods.  After listening to this tenuous connection, Bashir concluded:  “Wow, things are getting lower and lower by the day.”  How lame!

The sounds of desperation and despair from the Left and its media pals are increasing by the day.  They squeal as one would expect of a little league baseball team being forced to play in the big leagues.

Bill Maher: Another Progressive Bigot Comes Out of the Closet

Posted by Steve Markowitz on April 9, 2011

What does Progressive Leftist Bill Maher do when he is unhappy with President Obama?  He resorts spouting anti-Semitism.  This past Friday Maher said (video below):

“I heard him a couple of times saying, “You know what? We met the Republicans what they asked, and then we gave them more.”  That’s like your lawyer saying to you,  “You know, I went into the chambers with the judge and the prosecutor, and my first offer was 40 years to life for you. And I think I can get your tailgating charge moved up to manslaughter.  And that’s my first offer.”  What is wrong with these people?  He is a terrible negotiator.  Does he not even know a Jew?”

Adding an exclamation point to his bigotry, Maher then showed a poster for replacing Glenn Beck on Fox News that depicted Joe Lieberman doing a program called, “Morning Jew.”

For years bigotry has been gaining traction in Leftist circles.  In earlier years it manifested itself mainly on the Left’s fringes with the likes of Louis Farrakhan and Pastor Wright.  It is becoming more mainstream in the Left.  Maher joins other Leftist bigots, as previously post on this Blog:

NPR’s Vivian Schiller attacking Zionist and Christians.

Code Pink calling for Clarence Thomas to be lynched.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell saying the Michael Steele answers to “his masters”.

Helen Thomas telling Jews to go back to Germany.

Oliver Stone indicating that Jews have overblown the Holocaust.

Congressman Paul Kanjorski demeaning minorities.

MSNBC’s Chris Mathews forgets that Obama is black for a few minutes.

Cynthia Tucker taking off on Michael because he is black.

When examples of racism and bigotry from the Left are outed, inevitably Progressive elitists offer excuses such as “they know what is in the person’s heart and therefore that person could not be a racists”.  The Left has wrapped racism in the covers of political correctness for their own continence.  This is a dangerous slippery slope that can lead to fascism.  It is the same slide that allowed half the country to vote for president a man who admittedly attended a bigoted church for twenty years.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Melts Down on National TV

Posted by Steve Markowitz on November 4, 2010

The Leftist mainstream media is in total meltdown mode.  After being so far in the tank for Barack Obama and his Democrat associates, they must feel as if they too were repudiated at the polls on Tuesday.  And indeed they were.  But unlike the President who did his mea culpa the day after the election, these media folks are in total denial and instead are attacking any Republican they can put in front of the camera.

Yesterday we posted a video showing MSNBC’s Lefty Chris Matthews in meltdown mode when he called Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Minnesota Republican, a “moron”.  [MSNBC’s Chris Matthews Shows Fangs on Election Eve]

Earlier today we posted a video of the ladies of the View and their audience loosing it with Rudy Giuliani.  [Giuliani Takes the ‘View’ and its Audience to the Woodshed] In this confrontation, the Viewies went on the attack of Sarah Palin.

Now we have MSNBC Moonbat, Lawrence O’Donnell, nearly requiring restraints as he interviewed Congressman Eric Cantor, Republican from Virginia.  O’Donnell asked one of those questions meant to tarp Cantor: “You want to raise the debt ceiling … or are you going to let the country crash?”  Cantor didn’t bite and that sent O’Donnell into orbit that continues after Cantor left the interview.  Finally, it took fellow leftist Keith Olbermann to mentally restrain the nearly crazed O’Donnell.  Include below is the text and a link to the actual video.

While watching Lawrence O’Donnell loss it in public view is entertaining, it is a sad commentary on how far the mainstream media has sunk.  Fortunately, with cable news and the Internet, these Leftist commentators/reporters are becoming irrelevant.

NewsBusters.com – The O’Donnell Meltdown

MSNBC DECISION (2010 11/2/10 9:13 p.m. EDT)

LARRY O’DONNELL: [Rand Paul] is a man on a very fast collision course with his principles. One of the early votes he will be asked to cast in the United States Senate is the single – the single most important vote ever cast by the members of the House and the Senate, and that is on the debt ceiling. Our debt ceiling is now 14.3 trillion dollars, it will need to be raised in the coming year. He just used the phrase “enslaved by debt.” This is exactly what he stands against. If he – and he is, as a single United States senator, empowered, empowered to prevent us from raising the debt ceiling, because it must be raised on a date certain, at a particular time on the clock, or the United States government goes into default – if he filibusters the debt ceiling beyond that point, he can not only destroy the credit rating of the United States of America, he can wreak havoc on the world’s financial markets, cause a worldwide depression with one consistent holding to principle which is his notion of the American government’s relation to debt.

O’DONNELL: (to Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) …you’re going to have to loosen the belt before you tighten it, as you know, you and the Republican leadership in the House, Speaker Boehner, are going to have to bring up an increase in the debt ceiling to be voted on by your membership. John Boehner tonight has told the Tea Party quote, “I’ll never let you down.” Do you think the Tea Party will feel let down when you and John Boehner move to raise the debt ceiling next year?

Rep. ERIC CANTOR: Look, right now, what the people are saying, including the folks in the Tea Party, is “Get your business straight Washington, start listening to us, and start demonstrating the kind of fiscal discipline –

O’DONNELL: I’m not hearing an answer. I’ll wait, but I’m not hearing one.

CANTOR: I’m going to give you an answer – I’m going to give you an answer – and start demonstrating the fiscal discipline that we expect of our federal government, and most especially the Republican Party.

O’DONNELL: You want to raise the debt ceiling?

(Crosstalk)

O’DONNELL: Or are you going to let the country crash?

CANTOR: We’re going to have at least three or four months here to demonstrate that we are about fiscal discipline – cutting spending, going about the things that Americans want, which is to bring government back into –

O’DONNELL: And then you’re going to raise the debt ceiling, or let the country crash?

CANTOR: Now – Now listen, we-we’ve got three or four months until that gets here, and then –

O’DONNELL: So you won’t answer any questions about the debt ceiling until one minute to midnight when you have to raise it?  (…)

CANTOR: Again, a pleasure to be on MSNBC tonight.

KEITH OLBERMANN: I’m sure you feel that way.  Thank you.  And –

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Please come back.

OLBERMANN: Yeah. Indeed.  The irony, though, of the phrase –

O’DONNELL: Now wait, I don’t want him to come back if he’s not going to answer questions –

OLBERMANN: No, but I was just going to say, the irony –

O’DONNELL: I mean this is ridiculous –

OLBERMANN: Lawrence –

O’DONNELL: A guy like that can run and just spins those talking points, doesn’t answer a single question.

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell; Another Progressive’s Bigotry Goes Public

Posted by Steve Markowitz on October 6, 2010

The signs of desperation are growing from the Left as they read the “Tea-leaves”.  They see the sun is setting on the most radical Leftist administration to ever be elected in the United Sates.  What galls them most is that this rejection is coming from middle working Americas who just two years ago bought into the false hope spewed out by Barack Obama.

With the implosion of the Obama Presidency, Democrats in Congress will be rejected in less than a month and the Left understands this will be a referendum on Obama himself.  To them, this is but further proof that Americans are a helpless group that requires Progressives to shepherd them in the right direction.  Some are becoming so unglued by this rejection that their deep-seated racism is bubbling to the top.  Such is the case with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell who incredibly said on national television”

As the first congressional election during his party chairmanship approaches, Michael Steele is dancing as fast as he can trying to charm independent voters and Tea Partiers while never losing sight of his real master and paycheck provider, the Republican National Committee.”

It would be nice if Leftist like O’Donnell would debate issues rather than using race to cover for their inability to do so.

Once again a Progressive has come out of the closet to express his true feelings on race.  Mr. O’Donnell, you not only need anger management treatment, but also some sensitively training on race relations.
