CNN’s Jack Cafferty Saw Through Obama Early

Posted by Steve Markowitz on October 1, 2010

For Progressives in shock with the implosion of Barack Obama and his Democrat allies, they will now start the inevitable blame game.  While initially the may claim voter ignorance, racism and other excuses for the upcoming trouncing up in November, they should look no further than the closest mirror.

Henry sent in a video clip from CNN’s Jack Cafferty that, while originating in January 2010, shows the anger that started to build even in the Leftist media nearly a year ago.  This anger was directed at a President who promised change and transparency, but delivered none of it.

Now it is time for the people to speak!

Another “Goodbye” to Transparency

Posted by Steve Markowitz on June 7, 2010

When this Blog was started the last source we expected to quote was the New York Times.  Well, it seems that Obama and his Congressional pals are so incompetent that even the Liberal Times is after them.

Blog read Jim Mahoney forward an article in yesterday’s the Times that took the Democrats to task for their unwillingness to hold town hall meetings during last week’s extended weekend.  The Times stated:

“If the time-honored tradition of the political meeting is not quite dead, it seems to be teetering closer to extinction. Of the 255 Democrats who make up the majority in the House, only a handful held town-hall-style forums as legislators spent last week at home in their districts.

It was no scheduling accident.

With images of overheated, finger-waving crowds still seared into their minds from the discontent of last August, many Democrats heeded the advice of party leaders and tried to avoid unscripted question-and-answer sessions. The recommendations were clear: hold events in controlled settings — a bank or credit union, for example — or tour local businesses or participate in community service projects.”

President Obama campaigned promising to bring a new openness and transparency to Washington.  Neither has occurred.  We now have is Chicago-style politics going national.  This Administration makes the Nixon Administration look transparent.  Now that’s “talent!”
