Senator Ted Kennedy – Painting a Realistic Picture

While I was saddened by the passing of Senator Ted Kennedy and felt compassion for his family, I was also taken aback by the amount of attention lavished on him. TedKennedy(D-MA)While Ted Kennedy served in the US Senate for many years, so have so many others.  But none in my memory received the amount of attention given Ted Kennedy’s passing.  It is evident that the Kennedy family mystique plays a large role in America.  Given this, some reality is required to place the family’s history into perspective.
