The O’Reilly Obama Interview

Posted by Steve Markowitz on February 3, 2014

Before what turned out to be a poor excuse for the Super Bowl, President Barack Obama did an interview with Fox News host Bill O’Reilly.  You have to give the President credit for taking this interview since he clearly understood in advance that O’Reilly would not serve up the softball questions he has been used to via the mainstream media.  O’Reilly did not disappoint.

A video clip of the interview is supplied below.  It is left for each viewer to conclude on the efficacy of the President’s responses to O’Reilly’s questions.  To this viewer opinion, Obama looked evasive and showed a lack of contrition for the myriad of policy errors implemented under his administration.  Making his administration’s lack of execution even more glaring was that on two occasions the President actually blamed either/or O’Reilly and Fox News for creating the scandals that surround his administration including the handling of the Benghazi consulate attack and the IRS scandal.

It is no wonder that President Obama’s poll numbers have tanked.  The American people have given this president various passes for inappropriate behavior and policies in the past.  However, the electorate’s patience has been frayed with disaster known as Obamacare.  Still he remains unapologetic.  He has become the poster child for inept Washington politics.  Long ago the talk of open change ended.
