Ex-Secret Service Agent Claims Gun-Control is People Control

Posted by Steve Markowitz on February 27, 2013

Dan Bongino was a Secret Service agent who retired after 16 years.  In 2012 he made an unsuccessful bid for the U.S. Senate for Maryland.

In mid-January Bongino gave an off-the-cuff speech at a rally in Annapolis, Maryland that garnered little attention until going viral on last week.  Upon listen to the speech, video presented below, it is not hard to understand why it is being viewed so often.  Ideas present with logic and in plain English.

Bongino’s points included:

“There’s no such thing as gun control, don’t co-opt their language.  There’s only people control.”

“I never in 15+ years in doing this have ever arrested or investigated someone on a gun crime who had that gun legally.”

Perhaps Bongino’s most significant statement was: Our revolution was one of the only revolutions in human history where those who defeated our enemies and took power created a document that that disempowered them.

When people today view the Constitution it is often with the ignorance of the fact that one of its main purpose was to limit the power of government over states and individuals.  In recent decades this important role the Constitution has come under attack by Washington politicians, especially those on the Left.  Barack Obama and his fellow radical Leftists are taking this attack to new heights.  It is all a part of “people control” and to gain po

wer and wealth for the political class.
