Bill Clinton the Perjurer Defines Truth

During his presidency, Bill Clinton lied under oath about his affair with Monica Lewinsky.  After getting caught red-handed, he was impeached in 1998 and later disbarred in Arkansas.  It is rather incredible that in a campaign stop this week in Philadelphia Clinton accused Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney of lying saying:

  • “You’re laughing, but who wants a president who will knowingly, repeatedly tell you something he knows is not true?”
  • “When I was a kid, if I got my hand caught in the cookie jar, where it wasn’t supposed to be, I turned red in my face, and I took my hand out of the cookie jar.”
  • “You’ve got to give it to Governor Romney.  When he gets his hand caught in the cookie jar, he just digs down for more cookies.  I want you to send him a message tomorrow. You don’t have to be from Ohio to want your president to tell you the truth, when it comes to jobs for the American people.”

Bill Clinton’s lie about the Lewinsky matter was videotaped and seen by all America.  While he got caught with his “hand in the cookie jar”, there was not a bit of remorse shown either at the time he made the lie or since.  Bill Clinton has no shame, but then again he is an expert on
