Maryland Congressional Candidate Forced to Withdraw Due to Voter Fraud

Posted by Steve Markowitz on September 14, 2012

Any effort to limit voter fraud through such means as voter IDs is met by the Democratic Party with the ridiculous claims of racism and profiling.  Liz from Maryland sent in a story that helps demonstrate how bogus this claim really is.

Last week The Baltimore Sun reported on Democratic congressional candidate Ms. Wendy Rosen being forced to withdraw from the campaign because of her personal acts of voter fraud.  According to the Sun, during the 2006 and 2008 elections Rosen voted both in Maryland and Florida, which is not only illegal under Maryland law, but likely it to illegal votes for Barack Obama.  To their credit Maryland Democratic Party leaders raised the allegations that forced Rosen’s withdrawal.

Voter fraud is an age-old problem in democracies.  The Democratic Party fights any attempt to address it for one reason alone: they get more votes from fraud than the Republicans do.  The next time a Democrat or one of their pals in the mainstream media questions the need to address the issue of voter fraud, the Rosen story is but one clear example.  Another is the Democratic Party’s requirement of photo IDs for those entering the Democratic National Convention.
