Erskine Bowles Acknowledges Paul Ryan’s Intelligence and Budgetary Expertise

Posted by Steve Markowitz on August 13, 2012

Yesterday this Blog posted “Romney Picks Paul Ryan for VP Slot” that proffered the view that Paul Ryan was a great pick by Mitt Romney for his running mate due to Ryan’s expertise in budget matters and the Country’s finances.  As expected, many Democrats have gone on the attack of Ryan, claiming all sorts of bad things that will happen to the needy if Ryan’s budgetary views are followed.

Not all Democrats, however, place politics above common sense.  One such Democrat is Erskine Bowles who served as White House chief of staff under President Clinton and was appointed in 2010 by Barack Obama to his National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform, a bipartisan committee co-chaired with Republican Alan Simpson.  The video below includes Bowles’ view of Paul Ryan’s intellect, knowledge of America’s budgetary problems, as well is his honesty.

Erskine Bowles’ is a type of Democrat who used to run the Party.  His values and honesty will likely make him a pariah in the White House and the radical Leftist who currently control the Democrat Party.
