Graphing the US Recovery

Posted by Steve Markowitz on July 15, 2012

The blaze.com posted a graph of the civilian employment to the total population ratio that is telling.  Since the recession was officially declared as over in mid-2009, this ratio has remained stagnant.

While Pres. Obama inherited a nasty recession, he must accept responsibility for the historic slowness of job growth since it ended.  It is clear that the Stimulus, bailouts and other interventionist policies that the President has instituted have failed.  It is remarkable that Progressive continue to suggest more of the same medicine.  They refuse to say why we should expect any different results.

Labor Department lowers the unemployment to 8.1% in spite of bad job numbers ?
Just +96,000 jobs added instead of the 165,000 they were expecting. Yet they lower the rate.
How come they did this one might ask?
They say 368,000 AMERICANS SIMPLY “DROPPED OUT” OF THE WORKFORCE.
If this is “good news”, why would the Fed pump $?
Conclusion: THE LABOR DEPARTMENT FIGURES UNDER OBAMA ARE NOT CREDIBLE.
