Kara DioGuardi and PETA don’t Understand Dogs

Posted by Steve Markowitz on June 28, 2012

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has been running an expensive advertising campaign in national publications including the Wall Street Journal.  One advertisement features Kara DioGuardi of American Idol fame.  Besides including a photograph of Ms. DioGuardi with her pooch in arms, it says: “Walk your dogs every day.  Don’t ever create or change them.”

Through this advertisement PETA confirms that while they may know what a pretty woman looks like, they know little about dogs.  Dog owners who crate dogs know that these animals feel comfortable and protected in their crates, much like their wild relatives the wolf is comforted in their den.  Even after being released from the crates, many dogs voluntarily go back to them for comfort, especially when they are not feeling well.

PETA logic is typical of Progressives who believe that any who disagree with their “new religions” are defective.  They incredibly also believe that even animals think of safety and freedom as Progressives do.  How narcissistic!
