Wasserman-Shultz Versus Jeb Bush

Posted by Steve Markowitz on June 4, 2012

Late last week Congresswoman and Democrat National Committee Chairperson Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was in attack-dog form while questioning former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush during a congressional hearing.  The interview, posted below, is telling on variuos fronts:

  • First, Ms. Wasserman-Schultz showed an ability to turn what should have been a 20 second question into a multi-minute political speech.  She seems to ask this speech/question on the same breath.  Remarkable skill!
  • Showing the narcissism of Progressive politicians, count how many times Ms. Wasserman Schultz uses the words “me” or “I”.  She clearly thinks herself something very special.
  • In attempting to criticize Jeb Bush’s decision to do stimulus spending while Florida’s governor, the good congresswoman appropriately uses a cost per job analysis of the spending.  This approach is incredible given her strong approval of Pres. Obama’s stimulus spending programs.  Either Ms. Wasserman Schultz is too ignorant to see the connection or she believes the electorate is too stupid to understand her inconsistency.

Finally, it is interesting to compare the professionalism (or lack of it) bewtween Wasserman-Schultz and Jeb Bush. Her skills are quite dubious.
