Elizabeth Warren Used Dubious Minority Claim to Scam System

Posted by Steve Markowitz on May 3, 2012

Leftist Elizabeth Warren is the Democrat candidate running for the Senate in Massachusetts.  As seen in her defensive video posted below, she is lily white.  However, that did not stop her from claiming minority status in the past.

Pasted below are Warren’s entries in the 1986-87 AALS List II under Minority Law Teachers and the 1994-95 AALS List II under Minority Law Teachers.

When questioned about these dubious listings and claim, Warren came up with the following explanation: “I listed myself in the directory in the hopes that it might mean that I would be invited to a luncheon, a group something that might happen with people who are like I am.  Nothing like that ever happened, that was clearly not the use for it and so I stopped checking it off.”

Warren went on to embellish the lame excuse stating that her great great great grandmother was of the Cherokee Nation and then said: “Being Native American has been part of my story I guess since the day I was born.  These are my family stories, I have lived in a family that has talked about Native American and talked about tribes since I was a little girl.”  Yikes, one look at Warren shows that she has as much in common with Native Americans as David Carridine had with the Chinese monk he played in the 1970s series “Kung Fu”.

The reason for Warren’s nonsensical answer is clearly her concern that she may be accused of using a false claim to further her personal career.  Who would think it?  However, as they say, when in doubt follow the money.

Unfortunately, Warren’s abuse of the system is emblematic of the nanny state that the Country has evolved into.  These abuses are one reason why the trillions spent on anti-poverty and anti-discrimination programs have failed to correct the ills they were designed to address.  However, these programs have certainly created an industry that is done quite well serving these failed policies.

  1. […] Another Leftist has played the race card, this time commentator Jehmu Greene.  Greene was interviewed this week by Megyn Kelly on Fox News’s America Live along with Daily Caller’s Tucker Carlson.  The subject was Elizabeth Warren, the Senatorial candidate from Massachusetts who falsely claimed to be of Native American decent to advance her early career. This was the subject of this Blog’s May 3 posting titled Elizabeth Warren Used Dubious Minority Claim to Scam System. […]
