Progressive Bigots Leftist Rally; Some Suggest Lynching Clarence Thomas

Posted by Steve Markowitz on March 7, 2011

Early this year a Progressive pep rally was held in Palm Springs, California called “Uncloaking the Kochs” indicating the groups dislike for the billionaire brothers who fund conservative causes.  The rally was sponsored by the likes of Common Cause, AFFCE, Greenpeace, Code Pink, the Progessive and the Democrats of America and was staged outside of a Koch Brothers conference in Palm Springs.

Avowed Communist and ex-White House aide Van Jones was one of the Leftist speakers at the rally.  While in his typical soft-spoken tone he railed against the “politics of hatred”, some in attendance didn’t share that vision as indicated in the video below where they call for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be “put back in the fields” and “strung up and his wife too”, among other rather racist comments.

After the shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords in Arizona, President Obama placed blame on the incivility of the political discourse in America.  These comments and the way the mainstream media portrayed them placed the blame on Conservatives and particularly the Tea Party.  The President’s and media’s silence on the bigotry and incivility exhibited in Palm Springs and Madison Wisconsin not only show the Left’s insincerity, but also the danger of growing racist beliefs by Progressives.

    Ha ha. That’s a riot.

There’s far more racism coming from the radical right fringe, aka: the Tea Party, than there has been from the left. Don’t believe it? Just go to LATFTP.com and see for yourself. Many others have, and the hood is off the racist, so to speak.

  2. Quite remarkable when someone finds the suggestion that a Black Supreme Court justice should be hung as funny. Shame on you.

This is a classic error in logic known as the Fallacy of Composition, in which a conclusion is drawn about a whole based on the features of one of its constituents when, in fact, no justification provided for the inference. I am willing to concede there are some fringe individuals in the Tea Party movement if LAT is willing to concede that there are fringe elements in liberal movements. The liberals have been trying to smear Tea partiers as racist from the beginning with absolutely no success. They have even attempted to provoke racist and violent behavior in order to apply it to the group as a whole. Witness Nancy Pelosi and the usual suspects, taking a victory lap through the throng of Tea Party protesters on the Washington Mall after they had rammed through the healthcare vote by any deceptive means necessary. Wielding her big gavel and flashing idiot grins, they hoped against hope that someone in the crowd would turn violent. When none of the conservatives took the bait the liberals resorted to fabricating stores of racial epithets being hurled from the crowd. The only problem was in the age of the cell phone video recorder not a singe bit of evidence could be provided. Andrew Breitbart has offered a $100,000 reward for anyone who could produce documented evidence of racism from a Tea Party member. The prize is still unclaimed. I suppose I can now infer that because two members of the New Black Panthers were documented attempting to suppress the white vote at a Philadelphia polling place in 2008, that all members of the New Black Panthers are violent, racist thugs. But that would be wrong…
